Most owners compare villa managers on broad promises, but the better lens is alignment. How is the manager paid? Who actually runs the property day to day? What reporting do you receive? Are operations in-house or fragmented across vendors and freelancers?
The strongest operators make these answers obvious. They can show real before-and-after revenue numbers, explain their pricing methodology, introduce the team responsible for execution, and outline the reporting cadence you will receive. If the answers stay vague, that is usually the signal.
Ultimately, the right manager is not the one with the loudest claims. It is the one whose incentives are tied to your outcome and whose systems make that accountability visible month after month.
